New Church Boiler Raffle

Our church boiler is 63 years old!

It is amazing to have had this boiler system running great for this long. We have found some mechanical issues that are signalling us that it is time to get it replaced. We are asking for your help to get this project done by participating in the NEW BOILER RAFFLE contest. We would like for each parish family to take a packet of 15 raffle tickets to sell at $10 each ($150 per family). Pick up your packet before or after Mass or stop by the Parish Office during office hours. You may sell the tickets to your family and friends or purchase them for yourselves. The packets will be handed out to families during the raffle kick, on Memorial Day weekend, May 25 & 26. The raffle drawing will take place during our Parish Picnic on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Oaklawn Terrace Park in Sturgis, Michigan.

The cash prizes are as follows:
First Place $10,000
Second Place $2,500
Third Place $1,500
Fourth Place $1,000

If less than 3000 tickets are sold, the drawing will revert to a 50/50 raffle with only one winner. For raffle rules please click here. If you are looking to buy tickets stop by the Parish Office at 402 S. Nottawa St. Sturgis, Michigan, follow the “Parish Office” signs and ask for Angelica or Gabe.

Families Selling Tickets:

After selling your fifteen tickets, place the stubs and money in the envelope, seal and deposit it in the collection baskets at any of the weekend masses or bring to the parish office during working hours.  All ticket stubs and money need to be turned in by Friday, September 6, 2019.

There will be an incentive drawing of $100 for all sellers who have returned their 15 sold ticket stubs and the $150 by Sunday, July 14, 2019.  The drawing will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. The winner of this raffle will be announced at the weekend Masses.

We will have two rewards of $100.00 each for selling the most tickets in two categories.  One reward will be given to the registered parishioner who sells the most tickets. Another $100 prize will be given to the non-registered person who sells the most tickets.

Prizes will also be given to the persons who sell the winning tickets. On each ticket stub there is a space for the seller to clearly print their name.  This space must be filled in to qualify for this prize.
First prize seller’s award $200
Second prize seller’s award $50
Third prize seller’s award $30
Fourth prize seller’s award $20

Please pray for the success of this important capital campaign. We thank you for helping us with this project. God Bless your family!
